Your prayers and support over the past months have enabled us to launch our program in Panama in partnership with a local pastor. The pastor has an incredible heart for teaching God’s word and also helping impoverished children. So far, about 100 children have joined this gospel-centered feeding program In a couple locations. At each location they’re eating a solid meal about 4x a month, and hearing the pastor teach God’s word.
This new launch in Panama is based on our FED strategy that aims to feed, evangelize, and disciple at-risk children around the world. Feeding a child is the first step. Yet teaching God’s word is the most important step. By offering a meal, we’re not just quelling physical hunger – we’re also sparking spiritual growth as they hear God’s word. While the world may overlook them, we see children as capable partners in spreading the gospel.
