God Is Doing Great Things In Uganda!

How have things been for you so far this year?

While you think about that, I have an update for you and a request.

By now you’ve received our Spring Newsletter. We shared how you helped us launch gospel outreaches that reached, fed, and evangelized several thousand children in Uganda and India. Imagine with me: God may already be working in the hearts of a few of those children to prepare them as missionaries one day.

Today, I’ll share what God’s doing in Uganda. Following our gospel outreaches, 421 children in the Kampala area are now in discipleship groups at local churches. Under the leadership of a Ugandan pastor, these children are also learning how to love one another through the Christlikeness guide created by my predecessor, John Garmo, Ph.D.

Mission experts believe that Uganda is primed for sending missionaries cross-culturally:

“The Ugandan Church endured great suffering and emerged large and strong. Nearby nations still suffer greatly, and Uganda’s missionary potential is enormous! But few Ugandans serve abroad or cross-culturally in mission. Ask God to call many, and pray for the Church to train them and send them out.”i (P. Johnstone, Operation Mobilization)

Is this exciting or what! I hope this update affirms your investment in Mission to Children. By God’s grace, we believe our gospel outreaches could ripple out beyond the borders of Uganda one day! May these children grow in Christ to see themselves as participants in the Great Commission.

Now here’s my request: How can we pray for you? Please take a moment share a prayer request in the form below so that we can lift your needs to our heavenly Father.

Sincerely,
Byron Garmo, President
